EMS Radial Shock Wave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment where a series of high level ballistic energy impulses are delivered to injured tissues. It is a non-surgical treatment with no need for medications or corticosteroid injections; and is effective in the treatment and management of subacute or chronic pain and injury.

Effective in the management of Achilles Tendinopathy, Plantar Fasciitis, Forefoot pain and Metatarsalgia as well as other tendon and joint pain including arthritis.

The treatment stimulates the body's natural inflammatory response and increases the metabolic activity around the site of pain. This stimulates and accelerates tissue repair and cell growth. Shockwave therapy can be used to break down scar tissue and calcification of tendons and similar tissues. Shockwave therapy also initiates an initial analgesic effect bringing an instant reduction in pain; allowing freer and easier movement. Any secondary effects of the treatment are minor if any occur.
